• Cool, sheltered moist location, well-drained soil


• Restrictions limited as far as soil types and conditions


• Northern areas - from sea level to 6,000'


• Needles are 1/2" to 1 1/4" long - very fragrant, good color


• Symmetrical, dense, pyramidal crown


• Used as an ornamental, Xmas tree or timber


• Will not do well in heavy, wet clay soil


• Will grow 50'


• 7 years maybe sooner for a 6' tree - starting with a 3 year plant
